About Us
When purchasing our farm, we had the dream of planting an apple orchard here and planted our first trees in 2016 followed by a second planting in 2017. We initially named our farm 'Sweet Tree Acres' based on this dream and a beautiful apple tree at the end of the laneway. Our trees are now producing a good crop of apples and we are open to the public seasonally as 'McGregor's Orchard' and will continue to offer our products through the coop as they are available. Our lavender was planted from 'plugs' from a lavender farm in Prince Ednward County where they also helped with the selection of varieties and tips on growing. We harvest the lavender and dry it in bunches and store it to maintain the beautiful scent until it is delivered to our customers. Summer savoury is planted every spring and hand harvested, dried, and cleaned here on our farm.
