My husband and I are trained and experienced culinary management graduates. We decided to make a difference in our own dogs' lives and then learned that others were interested in the same products. Around the same time, I was experiencing challenges with my employment and health due to work related stressors. My friend had space available in her pet grooming shop and offered to sell products for us. We took her up on her offer, now participate in the Pembroke Farmer's Market Wednesday's and Saturday's and are looking for other avenues to market and sell our products. We are gradually building up our products and filling what seems to be an interesting under served niche. Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients We are trying our best to source and where we can purchase locally the ingredients for our treats and other products. Some have to be imported and those we are sourcing as non-GMO, fair trade and organic - again where possible and not cost prohibitive. We are growing some of our own ingredients - greens, herbs mainly; and are purchasing seasonal products locally. If we can't find local, we try our best to buy Canadian. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We create baked goods and other pet safe products with all natural ingredients resulting in treats safe for pets without additives, preservatives or fillers. We use whole limited processed ingredients and strive to reduce our carbon footprint - using recycled and/or recyclable products where we can. We offer a discount for people who bring their own containers to fill, and otherwise, use reusable mason jars and/or paper bags. Additional Information We are a start up in Renfrew County and are willing to amend our product line to meet demand. |
